01
Capture the exact symptom
A parsing problem, package conflict, blocked source and generic installation failure happen at different stages. Record the full prompt and whether it appeared before or after the installer opened.
- Note whether the file opened from a browser, file manager or message.
- Keep private notifications out of the screenshot.
- Avoid clearing data before identifying the failing component.
02
Check one failure class at a time
First verify the source and download completion, then check storage and compatibility information at the verified source, and only then investigate an existing installation. Changing several factors together hides the cause.
- Redownload only after removing an incomplete copy.
- Check storage without deleting unrelated personal data.
- Do not uninstall until recovery consequences are understood.
03
Use the least disruptive next step
Close the installer, restart the phone, reopen the verified file and read the result. Avoid factory resets, broad permission changes, rooting or third-party cleaner tools for one installation error.
- Restart before changing advanced settings.
- Keep the verified source address available.
- Share the error and phone model, never credentials.
